puchong chettinad mess




to me, the BEST in klang valley.

curries are flavourful. really like the salted fish curry.

some selection are favourites like the mango patchadi which i haven't tried at other places.

tasting the mutton varuval here, you can tell their spice blend is different from other banana leaf establishments.




tried their special once, goat head curry. the bits and pieces of cheek, tendon and the extra gamey flavour plus spices.... oh my... toe curling good!




did i mention they only open on week days? 😬
on certain holidays, they do specials like the below.
tried their chicken biryani once and the spices really make the dish.


a few comments though.
  • only available on weekdays. 😱😱😱😱😱 arghhhh!!!! can't get my fix on weekends.
  • not enough specialities. how about bone marrow? goat stomach curry? 
  • such a long queue! have to go there early, say 1130am. otherwise will queue from downstairs. 
obviously i'm just being an asshole.

highly recommended!
